Nunilo Rubio is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He earned his medical degree from Far Eastern University, Philippines and completed his residency at Edward Hines Jr. Veterans administration Hospital in Illinois. He completed his fellowship in endocrinology at Loyola University. His clinical interests include diabetes, hormonal, metabolic and thyroid problems. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Tagalog.

Dr. Rubio is on the medical staff at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. His office participates in Medicare and Medicaid, as well as most major HMO, PPO, and conventional insurance plans. Dr. Rubio is currently accepting new patients. Appointments can be made by calling (773) 622-0056.
